25.1The allotments in Albury village (See MAP H) are located close to properties in the parish which tend to have smaller amenities space allowing parishioners to grow their own produce in a manner that is sustainable, supports biodiversity and is a useful amenity for parishioners

Policy ANP19 – Allotments

1. The allotments in Albury village, as shown on MAP H, should be retained. And improvements that enable greater use, including resolving the poor access to the site, will be supported.

25.2The allotments in Albury village are located at the end of Church Lane and The Warren but are relatively inaccessible for allotment holders as they are in a field on raised ground, making the delivery and extraction of equipment and goods difficult. Water is provided by a trough, there is no running water or electricity. Despite these set backs the allotments are well supported with few vacancies. They are well sited in Albury village close to properties which typically have smaller amenity space compared to other areas of the parish.
